In Character
1.Please don't write a sentance per post! You're here to write, prove to us that you can! Try to write at least a small paragraph each time, remember to 'show, not tell'.
2.Swearing within the storyline is permitted, but all truly offensive swearing is censored anyway.
3.Check your spelling! It physically hurts to see obvious, and really BAD spelling mistakes. Please don't use text language.
4.Mature scenes should be marked. If something contains violence, blood, sexual scenes and such, please say so at the beginning of your post. No pornography is allowed!
5.No power-playing. This means don’t control what other member’s characters do, and don’t kill them without permission. You can control non-owned characters, but don’t change their personality from what someone has already written, this is unrealistic.
6.No using existing characters in this RPG. Even though this RPG is based on a book, we'd like all of your character to be original.
7.Keep your number of characters under 5. You can have more than one character, but any more than five would be too much to handle. If you feel you have too many characters for you to handle, contact the admins who will sort out getting rid of some for you.
8.Be realistic. Nobody is perfect, your character cannot block every attack or dodge every bullet. You wont always kill someone first blow.
Out of character
1.Be nice. Be understanding of other people, they have feelings too.
2.Keep IC and OOC threads separate. Don’t blab on like you’re you on IC boards, that’s the whole point of OOC boards.
3.Tell someone if you’re going away for more than a week.
4. You cannot start roleplaying until your character application is accepted. By all means feel free to write in OOC boards, but if you post in a roleplaying board when you don't have a character that post WILL be deleted.
5.HAVE FUN!! That’s the whole point after all.
